A competition that aims to keep the ancient tradition of north Cumberland-style hedgelaying alive attracted large numbers of competitors and spectators.
Saturday’s event was hosted by the Harrington family on their fields near Kirkbride.
This year’s judges were Ronnie Carr and Edward Kyrke, who said the standard of competitors was excellent.
Volunteers from the Solway Coast Community Volunteer Group were stewards for the day, which was organised by the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
