Solfest began in 2004 and has sold out for the last three years. The organisers pride themselves on the festival's family-friendly facilities and disabled access, as well as providing great music, food, workshops and entertainment. Silloth Carnival

The carnival in Silloth - on August Bank Holiday Monday - features floats and fancy dress, sideshows, stalls, the crowning of the Carnival Queen on the village green and Cumberland and Westmoreland wrestling

GreenFest
 A local produce market featuring everything from Solway shrimps to homemade Jam. Some of the areas best known producers will be there including Cock Robin Cider and The Derwent Brewery. There will also be cookery demonstrations, breadmaking, homemade ice creams and a BBQ. Add to this a giant fun fair and a local craft fair and you have a day out for the whole family to enjoy. On Sunday 17th there will also be a free pop concert from 1pm - 5pm featuring Bullfrogs, South Quay, Sidewinder and others t.b.c 16/17 AUGUST

Silloth Kite Festival
Kite Flying displays are on show on the green on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of July. The event also sees a kite workshop, a circus workshop, live entertainment and a special appearance from The Cheshire Dog Display Team.
